Why Yes, I'm Still Doing All the Things...

Why Yes, I'm Still Doing All the Things...

Oh hey there!

You looking at me? Well, I see you too! Thanks for wondering what the heck is going on with me. Cause, quite honestly, by all SM and internet searches it seems like “Not much, besides basketball”. ;) Let’s just identify the elephant in the room now: there’s no denying that it’s been awhile since an entry or SM post. Yeah, disappointed in myself there. My professional side certainly knows better. Rest assured, I’ve still been doing all the things and continuing to coax more creative time into my day. My goal is to show more of that.

Just a little vulnerable admission here: I’m pretty critical of my WBM posts and pictures. Ewww, dirty dishes in the background. Look, awesome, there’s some underwear on the floor. Paper clutter? Yep, we’ve got that too. I fuss more about the actual picture than I do about the product or project I’m showing. And that just isn’t right, and probably why I don't post as much as I'd like. I want to be relatable in all I post—not braggy, not fake. I hope to show more of the “less than perfects” because life just isn’t. And, it’s definitely too short to paint it that way! I’ll continue to try to show the happy—because that’s how I REALLY want people to feel when visiting my social media posts. My goal in everything I do is to help create a happy space to share with the people who make us the happiest. ((HOME))

So, I’m pushing the hard reset button. To intentionally post more. More projects, more kids, more funny, more items for sale, and some what-the-heck posts.

Here’s my soggy Fruity Pebbles in a sink full of dirty dishes post. My 7 year old picked up her own dishes; isn’t that just a beautiful thing? Putting yourself out there for all to judge is a scary thing—but so is picking up your own dishes.

Thanks for being here friends.
